Set in the year 2050, Sam Hayward and Jerri Burton are just trying to make a success out of their business selling remakes of vintage clothing. The second day of the Annual Clothing Convention is bringing them few sales but when two gorgeous naked twin males appear from out of nowhere, these businesswomen find themselves in the thick of bigger things.

Kar’four and Deuce are from 2250. They have traveled back in time to stop a tragedy and in so doing to save womankind…or mankind as we know it.

Readers who have not been introduced to Ms Byrd and Ms Hayes’ brand of heat and hilarity are in for a spicy treat. The story is told tongue-in-cheek but with enough emotion to satisfy the romance seekers in us.

The luscious men who find their mates here are indeed half wild, thanks to being cloned from a combination of human and animal DNA. In their time, there are no real women. The brothers take on a risky mission to avert the incident that caused this.

Part of the appeal of these men is their thorough appreciation and reverence of real women. How can most of us not fall in love with males who want full-fleshed curvy women to have and to hold? They are equal parts protective alpha and earnest naiveté, not to mention being completely unspoiled.

Both Sam and Jerri are the kind of woman heroines that many of us are happy to find in the romance world. These two can be quite flip with their comments but their wholehearted embrace in helping the brothers rectify the terrible wrong is fun to watch.

Some of the plot twists might seem an unusual stretch and a bit too fortuitous. That is unlikely to stop readers from enjoying the wonderfully erotic and amusing HALF WILD.
