Mire Darkly is in hot, Mexico hiding from hunters. As an ice dragon, Mexico is the last place he should be, but he figures no one will come looking for one of his kind here. He wants a drink, an ice cold drink, but the bar he wanders into is ready to close. The bar keeper has his attention, and he wages a bet with him. Over a game of pool he bets the bar keeper that he’ll keep the bar open for a while longer. Now, this bar keeper has his own plans with Mire, but what they both don’t expect is the heat that flares between them. With the hot Mexican sun and the flame of an erotic encounter, this ice dragon may just go up in steam!

Now, I always say this after reviewing this genre, but gay fiction is not my preferred genre. As a reviewer however, I have enjoyed some very well written stories and this short, but very hot, quickie is one of them. Reneé George knows how to pack a lot of emotion into her story and write some really hot sex scenes. I don’t know about steaming ice dragons, but I certainly was steaming after reading this one. I particularly enjoyed her characters and their interaction. The plot is also good and keeps you guessing until the end. This is certainly an entertaining read and perfect for a cold winter evening. If you’re a fan of this genre I am sure you will enjoy this steamy encounter of the paranormal kind.
