The last thing that Lady Eleanor Pierce wanted to hear was that Lord Damon Stafford had returned. He had been gone ever since she had been forced to call off their engagement when she caught him with his mistress. And the timing of his return was horrid as she was determined to catch and marry Principe Antonio Lazzara di Terransini.

As soon as Damon had heard that the Principe was courting Elle, he has rushed his return to England. Damon might not be the man for her as he refused to fall in love with anyone, however he knew that the Principe wasn’t the man for her either. Now just to convince Elle of this fact.

Looking for a book to sweep you away to another time and place? Then look no further then Nicole Jordan’s TO ROMANCE A CHARMING ROGUE. The characters are incredibly easy to relate too and the circumstances that they find themselves in range from amusing to tragic to joyous. Ms. Jordon really hits all the right notes with TO ROMANCE A CHARMING ROGUE!

Damon is a charming rogue that has been scarred by the loss of first his twin brother and then his parents when he was younger. Because of these losses, he is determined never to fall in love and suffer from that kind of pain again. When Elle came too close to his heart, he ran. This is one character that grows on the reader as he grows and changes throughout the story.

Elle is a strong woman who thinks that she knows what she wants. However she learns that you can’t control your heart and whom it chooses to love. I especially enjoyed watching her learn her lessons in love. Some of the situations that she finds herself in aren’t quite believable for the time but are enjoyable to read for all of that.

I heartily recommend TO ROMANCE A CHARMING ROGUE to readers that enjoy their historical romance on the sensual side. The character are refreshing, the dialogue witty and it is the perfect way to escape from the stress of everyday life.
