CLICK TO PURCHASE! Pam Champagne’s ALASKAN HEAT provides suspense, deception and enough heat to melt the ice cap.
Sophie has finally gotten her first FBI field assignment and even though it involves Hawk, who practically ran from her bed the one disappointing time he showed an interest, she is determined to get her man and prove herself to her superiors.
Fellow FBI agent Joe “Hawk” Hawkins has been framed, is literally on the run and has one chance to clear his good name. So when he spots Sophie in the middle of nowhere, Hawk has a hard time believing in coincidences.
Pam Champagne’s latest romantic suspense, ALASKAN HEAT, delivers the adventure, excitement and character chemistry reminiscent of the writing talents of Cherry Adair and Suzanne Brockmann.
The storyline is fraught with suspense and challenges. The pace is fast and furious. The characters are multifaceted. Sophie is eager to prove herself and very determined. She also wants another chance at Hawk. And he owes her. She is a brilliant statistician and uses that skill to track Hawk down. She just wishes she had a little more experience in the field now that she has found him. Hawk is strong, well trained and more than prepared to clear his name. Hawk is also willing to take any help he can get, but did that help have to come in the form of Sophie? He already embarrassed himself once with her. And now that he has rogue agents on his trail, he’d rather not see sweet Sophie caught up in his mess. These two characters are wonderful together. They both fit perfectly and are like oil and vinegar at the same time. This reader could not help but be entertained by some of their antics while trying to stay one step ahead of the bad guys.
This reader thoroughly enjoyed Pam Champagne’s ALASKAN HEAT and can’t wait to read more from this talented up and coming fiction author.
