Darkness has got the Neteru team on the run and now as the most wanted terrorists on the planet, Damali, Carlos and the rest of the team are wondering what the heck happens next. Plagues and martial law are the norm as unity dies and worlds try to find peace in this time of chaos. The Neteru team is coming to the final epic battle, the Armageddon, as word has reached them that the antichrist is poised to make his return and ancient seals are broken in the process. Can the Neteru team find their way to the rest of their fractured guardian teams before the dark realm smokes them out? Will humanity die a slow painful death as chaos and mayhem roam? Get ready for the final battle as THE THIRTEENTH emerges from hell.
THE THIRTEENTH is the final book in the beloved Vampire Huntress Legend Series and Ms. Banks doesn’t slow down. With non-stop action, captivating characters and a fast paced storyline, she delivers a wild, edge of the seat ride that takes you straight to hell and back again. This time the world is the devil’s playground as Angels and demons fight for our lives as the Neteru guardians find themselves lost, alone and trying to find a way to stop all the madness as biblical seals are broken one after another. Can they stop it in time before the antichrist comes out? Will they perish in the battle for the world?
I have to say I am slightly biased as I absolutely love this series. I can not get over how Ms. Banks delivers stirring emotions with each page, characters that meld, grow and evolve to who they are right up till the end and the storyline is rich in dialogue, action packed goodness that leaves you breathless from all the twists and turns. This is an author who can sweep your feet out from under you yet steady you in the next breath. A masterful storyteller, she delivers several knock out punches that make you think the end is near for the beloved Neteru’s and BAM! She flips the script and shows the reader a new twist. It is one heck of a ride and I am sad to see it end.
If you enjoy a fast paced story that delivers nonstop action, multifaceted characters and an epic showdown between good vs. evil, and then grab the entire Vampire Huntress series, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend that you read it in order though as each book capitalizes on each other.
