I have always enjoyed her work and get real excited when she has a new release out. If you are a reader of erotic romance, and love your sex scenes graphic, with lots of sensuality and some pulse pounding romance, then this is an author for you. In this story, she gives us two very charming characters and a glimpse into their lives at the time they meet and realize that they are meant for each other. At first I thought Luke a little arrogant with his claims of being able to give her mind blowing pleasure, but he sure delivered. After finding out exactly who he is, it’s no wonder this alpha man acts like he does. As this is a short, Ms. Holt gives the story a good balance between the romance and plot. Although the plot is simple, for a short story it is enough to give the necessary conflict for these two lovers. Another conflict is the secret Luke is holding on to. This is the first book in The Sentinels series and I am looking forward to more.
