Sparks fly and Tyler finds himself drawn to Mark even as they find they cannot deny the flames that beat between them. Dates follow and Mark and Tyler learn more about each other and slowly fall in love when disaster strikes Mark in the form of family anger and he turns to the one person who he can trust: Tyler. Together they slowly heal wounds, old and new, between them and learn that love is indeed precious and it is not up to others to decide who they can love.
Mr. Grey delves into Tyler and Mark’s world with abandon and delivers very strong characters that will delight the reader. Tyler is strong alpha male who finds a love that will ease old wounds and also helps Mark deal with a family divided by him being gay. Mark is a man who is unsure and shy, never really knowing how to say ‘this is who I am, please accept me’. With Tyler by his side, easing the hurt and pain away, Mark finds the inner strength to go on even as he yearns for his family to accept him and his lover, Tyler. I really enjoyed the way these two interacted with each other and with secondary characters. Full of strength, determination and lots of love, these two fit together and THE BEST REVENGE is showing everyone who denounced you and your love that living and loving well is the best revenge they can take.
THE BEST REVENGE is a strong story with really captivating characters that will leave you wanting more. Mr. Grey does a masterful job weaving this story around you and as you cheer on Tyler and Mark as they overcome many obstacles, the reader is left with a hunger for more as the last page is read. If you enjoy a stirring story that captures your imagination from start to finish then grab THE BEST REVENGE and be prepared to be swept away by Mr. Grey’s masterful storytelling. I will definitely be looking out for more from this wonderful author.
