Ginger’s world is about to turn upside down. She finds out that her daddy has been having dealings with the Mars mafia and owes them a lot of money. If he doesn’t pay up then Ginger’s life is forfeit. So, she has to leave her life behind her and go into hiding. The place that is chosen for her is a place where Jack lives, and it’s the same man she met the night before. But, Jack is someone who would be more suited to come and see her for therapy. She is a psysexian and Jack, who enjoys more than one woman at a time and who is quite a bit younger than her, doesn’t seem like ‘Mr. Perfect’ material. Jack is falling for Ginger, but his roving ways seem to be a stumbling block for her. He needs to show her that his Casanova days are over and he’s not the immature, youngling she thinks he is. That is, if he can keep her alive.

Kara Griffin has written a space romp that incorporates a lot of different themes and manages to combine them all to provide the reader with an entertaining and exciting story. We have Jack, who is a type of space cowboy and Ginger, who is a sex-therapist and some pretty interesting secondary characters who add depth to the story. I mustn’t forget the computer characters, PAM and MAX who provide some light, funny moments. The sexual tension between Ginger and Jack sizzles and pops and the love scenes are very sensual. The reader will be rooting for both of them as it seems there are quite some impossible barriers to be overcome before they can find their happy end. I really enjoyed reading this story. Kara Griffin is an author who always writes a well-written story that is enjoyable to read. In this particular tale however, I did feel the dialogue somewhat stilted and it could have flowed better. Other than that, I can recommend all science fiction fans to pick this up and take a space adventure with two very loveable characters.
