Fin Borders has always been a wild one. Growing up, she’s learned to walk on the wild side and stay in control. Now she’s being called back to the place she grew up, the place she left behind a long time ago. An innocent woman has been accused of a crime she didn’t commit and now Fin has to go back to Hallden to face her ghosts and risk her own life. But there’s someone else in Hallden looking for a killer. Caleb Matthews, an FBI Special Agent is undercover. Only, Fin can see right through him and he is intrigued. Fin and Caleb have to work together although he desperately wants to protect her. They need to learn to trust each other and to handle the passion that is igniting between them. The deception they uncover threatens to destroy everything they love.

This is an exciting, thrilling read that grabbed me and held me captive until the last page. Selena Montgomery knows how to weave a story that is full of intrigue, wonderful characters, a bucket full of sexual tension and some hot, toe-curling love scenes. I loved Fin’s best girl friends and the myriad of characters in this story bring it alive, from Fin’s ‘mother’ to the villains. Caleb is a hunk and a half and the sexual tension is so high that you will be hoping they will hit the sheets soon. They share quite a few delicious kisses before getting to the deed and then Fin is more than surprised by the intensity of it all. Yum! Fin is the kind of heroine the reader will love. She is full of flaws, far from being good and is as tough as nails, at least on the outside. This is a wonderful book that lovers of romantic suspense will devour. I certainly did and Selena Montgomery is now on my keeper shelf.
