When Jaye meets Trevor again, old wounds and memories re-surface to haunt her. He has lost his memory, but still, he is highly attracted to her. Jaye knows that when he regains his memories he will hate her. A long time ago, she made a decision that saved his life but had her betraying her country. She still loves this man and has a hard time coming to grips with the fact that he will come to hate her. He is a man who believes in duty and loyalty. Trevor not only has to regain his memories, but he also needs to find out what has awakened inside of him. What the creature is that slumbers within and can be called to come out at will. The stakes get higher when Jaye’s son is in danger and together they need to embrace the heritage and destiny that calls to them.

I was so happy to see another book come out from this highly talented author, and another Project Prometheus too. We meet the main characters from the other two books, Peter and Hope, Matthew and Manara and you don’t have to read the others to enjoy this one, but I guarantee that you will want to. Esther Mitchell has a wonderful way of immersing her reader totally into the story and into the minds of her characters. They are multi-dimensional and rich in emotions. This is a story that will have you scrolling those cyber-pages as Ms. Mitchell sends you on a roller-coaster of an adventure. This story had me gasping, smiling, almost crying and I could hardly put it down. The love scenes are wonderfully written and the sexual tension is very high. Your heart will reach out to Trevor and Jaye as they take a journey of discovery and re-finding themselves. I can’t wait for the next book from this wonderful author and I order you all now to get this book right away. It’s a keeper!
