I loved the way she incorporates reincarnation into this story with Raphael, finding the woman he has longed for so long, is the one woman who has no freaking clue about what or who he is until he unlocks those memories inside her. With the right amount of tension, Ms. Ranson weaves a subtle spell across her readers as they eagerly await the next twist in PRINCE OF NIGHT.

Meet Raphael, a vampire lord who has longed to finally find his mate, Elizabeth, especially after finding her so many times yet losing her to his enemy time and time again. The reader feels for Raphael, especially as he struggles to keep a sane head when all he wants to do is claim Liz, heart, body and soul immediately. With some really interesting secondary characters keeping the story going, this author keeps the story flowing hot and fast especially as Raphael shows Liz the way passion is to be between two people.

If you enjoy a unique twist on vampire lore, then grab the first book in the Blood Born series, PRINCE OF NIGHT and get ready for one roller coaster of a ride. I look forward to the next story and hope I don’t have to wait too long for it. This was a highly enjoyable story that will keep you entertained from start to finish. Ms. Ranson is an author who keeps you glued to the edge of your set while fanning yourself from the heat that singes your fingertips from start to finish.
