CAPTIVE ILLUSIONS 1: IAIN & KELSEY is the start to a really sexy series by author Lynn Crain. I have to admit the way it sounded in the beginning the story might have been a little too “hardcore” for my reading pleasure but I was pleasantly surprised as you get introduced to Kelsey and Iain, two very different characters but the same under it all. Kelsey has had some really dark fantasies. You know the ones…where you are kidnapped and taken by force to depths you never knew existed. When her fantasies come to life, Kelsey finds herself at the mercy of a man she can not place yet calls to her on a level she never knew she had. I really enjoyed how Kelsey threw off her inhibitions and let the inner wanton out to play with Iain and in the process Kelsey finds herself meeting the woman inside, destined to be the mate of a man who stirs her like no other.
CAPTIVE ILLUSIONS 1: IAIN & KELSEY definitely delivers one kinky scene after another but that is the icing on the cake as the reader finds herself drawn to the story underneath it all. Can Iain keep Kelsey once she finds out the truth about him? Will Kelsey be able to accept the man who holds her captive in more ways than one and accept the change that she underwent while being dominated by Iain? I liked how the characters interacted with each other and Ms. Crain brought some depth to them as the adventures continued with Kelsey. If you enjoy a story where the male hero is one hot dominant alpha male and the female worthy to be his mate, then grab CAPTIVE ILLUSIONS book 1. The story of Iain and Kelsey has me hoping I don’t have to wait long for Captive Illusions book 2 in the future.
