CLICK TO PURCHASE! Kim Knox’ CONSORT is a tantalizing vampire mating dance that pits strength and beauty against political scheming in a fight for a crown.

The November Eve Hunt Ball was here and it was Tate’s turn to prove her worth as a Vampire Queen or end up a slave to a vampire male. It should have been easy to get a newly turned male to kneel and swear loyalty to her. But the ruling Queen had other ideas and those ideas included having her daughter take over for her without competition from Tate. And for that plan to work, Tate would have to fall slave to the Queen’s son, the most powerful and seductive vampire male in their society.

Kim Knox’ CONSORT at just short of eighty pages is a quick read, but what a read. The storyline is complex with the political wrangling going on simultaneously with Tate’s mating. The pace starts out even and then builds and grows as the heat slowly builds with it. Ms Knox manages to keep readers wondering what the eventual outcome will be right up until the very end.

The characters are interesting and pair together well. Tate is strong and confident, but also realistic and knows her duty comes first. At the same time, Jager is a very real temptation that she is trying her best to avoid. Jager at first seems arrogant and haughty, but it is slowly revealed that there is more to him than first appears. Tate and Jager are a joy to follow as they dance around each other.

Kim Knox’ short story CONSORT is well worth the read. It is sexy and fun vampire politics that is sure to mesmerize readers.
