CLICK TO PURCHASE! Keely Montgomery is a busy girl, working on her Ph.D. She wants to get out of her cheap apartment. Then, she receives a message from a heavenly being who delivers a scroll. He’s from the Office of Death and Dismemberment and wants to recruit Keely as a Scythe. Although she refuses and there is no way she’ll do the job, she soon realises that the courier can be very persistent. Detective Josiah Adler has never seen anything like it before. A beautiful blonde who wields a blade and doesn’t leave any blood or marks behind. It seems he keeps bumping into her and there is always a dead body left behind. He needs to put a stop to her, not only because of the dead bodies but because he feels very attracted to her. And Keely doesn’t really want the complication of a relationship with the stress of her new job, but she’s finding it hard to resist the handsome detective.

MK Mancos has written a story that has some very interesting and captivating characters. I really liked Keely and Josiah a lot and enjoyed watching the chemistry between them pop and sizzle. I also enjoyed the other characters that were introduced in the story. I liked that although the story has some humor and lots of smiley moments, there is a dark edge that keeps you on your toes and keeps you reading to find out what happens at the end. This was a story that was hard for me to put down and I can recommend you reading it when you have plenty of time to enjoy it in one sitting. Let’s not forget the love scenes that will get your toes curling. MK Mancos has a way of drawing you into her stories and believe me, she has one big fan and that’s ME!!! I’m sure, when you pick up her stories, you’ll agree with me and put her on your ‘to buy’ list. Don’t delay, go get SCYTHE today!
