It is a very interesting way to introduce a new spin on this genre and Ms. Roth definitely delivers one kick butt, alpha male hero. Quinn is to die for and he made me want to run around and grab some ice cubes to cool off. Sexy, strong and very determined to keep Carri safe, even from her madman of a boyfriend regardless of the cost. Carri is a spunky heroine who goes toe to toe with Quinn, while trying to wrap her mind around the fact, the man she thought she knew is totally not him and the one standing before her scares the bejesus out of her. When these two finally hook up, the sparks fly and man, the emotion goes into overdrive. I can attest you are going to need some major cooling down once you finish reading GOING THE DISTANCE. It is melt-your-panties time, especially when the tension reaches melting point and secrets come out that has Carri fighting alongside Quinn, for a future together.

Ms. Roth definitely knows her stuff as she captivates the readers with a world full of paranormal creatures and introduces them to the world of Extreme Fighting. With captivating characters, a fast paced storyline and a madman bent on getting his way, the reader is enthralled with GOING THE DISTANCE from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more about this fascinating world that Ms. Roth has created and hope I don’t have to wait too long for the next installment.
