Louisa Burton gives her readers two wonderfully erotic stories.
In The English Courtesan, Don Domenico takes a young maiden to the Castle of the Hidden Grotto to learn the arts of love. He himself has decided to live his life without love. His face is scarred by war and he feels no one could love him. But Hannah has not only come to the Grotto for an erotic education.
In Hunger, Anton has been obsessed with Lili for centuries. Tired of being a virtual slave to Galiana, he takes a trip to the Grotto to finally get Lili for himself. But Galiana has followed him and is equally interested in Elic. Lili loves Elic but they can never make love. The vampires, Anton and Galiana each plan to get what they want, but plans have a way of back-firing.
Oh, I do love these stories from Louisa Burton. This time she has added some BDSM elements into the second story. I enjoyed meeting the immortals at The Castle of the Hidden Grotto again, especially Lili and Elic. These stories are like dark chocolate, decadent, sweet and oh so sinful. Ms. Burton writes highly erotic stories with wonderful characters that leap from the pages. The romance is not only erotic, but sensual, emotional and very arousing. This clever author knows how to keep her characters and her readers on the edge. I could hardly put this book down when I started reading it. Ms Burton captures you on the first page and holds you until the end. I do hope she will be writing more of these wonderful stories. I can highly recommend them and they are on my keeper shelf.
