I do have to warn the readers that this is highly erotic and may have some scenes that may not appeal to you.
Meet Kaydana, a sorceress who is King Marketh’s lover yet she is determined to find a way to leave him, even as she craves his dark desires he rouses in her. Strong, independent and vulnerable, this heroine is flawed yet captivating. She loves both men and women and this author delivers some sexy scenes to keep the blood flowing. I loved the way Kaydana tries to deny her desires even as she craves them while fleeing for her life. Finding a way to balance the two parts of her was a challenge yet Kaydana resonates with the reader with her vulnerability and the struggle to accept her dark desires. This author keeps the story hot and flowing fast as he weaves a spell around you while reading about the Ruby of Beguilement. It was a wonderful way to heat things up on a cold autumn night.
