MORE THAN ROBOTICS is the second book in Ms. Crain’s Orchard Series and it continues the story from the first book, Fluke. It is a wild and entertaining ride from start to finish with intriguing characters, lots of action and some really sensual scenes that keep the story flowing nicely. I loved the dynamics of Bekka Taylor, a captain of her dream star ship and determined to enjoy her life even if she didn’t have a lover who accepted her fiery nature. Enter in Lt. Javed Malik, a younger officer who keeps Bekka’s blood racing with just a smoldering glance and a secret that only she has knowledge of. Ms. Crain delivers a fiery story with two main characters that are intriguing and both hold secrets that come out throughout the course of the storyline.

Meet Captain Bekka Taylor, a woman with just three goals in life: to command her own star ship, grow old gracefully and have a lover to accept every inch of her. Two out of three were acceptable to her until the hunky Lt. Javed Malik came aboard and threw her entire world upside down. Will she let Javed into her life and in the process throw away her career? Bekka is a woman every reader can relate to. I loved her insecurities even though she was determined to not show it in front of her crew. Desires flaring between the two had me fanning my face even as I flipped the pages to read what would happen next. Javed Malik is a sexy hero who smolders on the pages as he delights and seduces Bekka while they run for their lives from the people determined to destroy them. These two characters are perfect for each other and add in some entertaining secondary characters that kept the story flowing nicely; you got a story that keeps you enthralled from start to the climatic finish.

MORE THAN ROBOTICS is a thrilling and engaging read that will keep you glued to your seat. I loved the way Ms. Crain writes and she doesn’t disappoint her readers with this thrilling sequel to Fluke. I just hope it won’t be long until we get another taste of the Orchard Series. If you enjoy adventure, love on the run and exceptional characters than grab MORE THAN ROBOTICS and be prepared to settle in for an enjoyable afternoon of reading pleasure.
