RIDING ON INSTINCT is the third installement of Ms. Burton fantastic and intriguing Wild Rider series and although you can read this book as a stand-alone I recommend to read the other books, Riding Temptation and Riding Wild, too, not only to understand the Wild Riders better but also for pure reading fun.

In RIDING ON INSTINCT it is time for Spencer King to say goodbye to his bachelorhood, because he meets his match in Department of Justice agent Shadoe Grayson. Spence is to work together with her on an undercover mission to identify a rogue DEA agent in a strip club. For Shadoe this means to pose as a stripper, something that she has never done before and also something that Spence thinks she isn’t able to do, because she reminds him more of a prim schoolteacher than a stripper and from the first moment on, the sparks are flying between them. Those two are just too much alike and it becomes a battle of wills between them, but they can’t deny their attraction.

What I loved in this book was the interaction and relationship between Spence and Shadoe. It is like those two wounded souls wait their whole life to become one and heal each other.

Another aspect which I really like is that the whole book is unpredictable, because you never know what will happen next and you will be absolutely sucked into the story. I read the book in one session because I couldn’t put it down. So take your time when you start with this book. I have been a long time fan of Ms. Burton and the Wild Rider books are on the top of my favorite book list.

If you are looking for a hot and fascinating book, I can highly recommend RIDING ON INSTINCT. I can hardly wait to read the next book of this series.
