Hannah Miller moved to Sanctuary to start over with a new life and a new business venture with best friend, Kirrah Walker. What she doesn’t anticipate is being a target for Waken Assassin by the hottest guy she’s ever met. Sage is a witch who is sent to kill Hannah and he normally has no trouble doing his job but this one has him trembling in his boots. He has avoided Salem since the 1692 Witch trials and he is not eager to go back there. When he meets Hannah, however, he finds something far more desirable than fulfilling his mission- falling in love with a human. For these two lovers, two worlds will collide as conflict in Ru-Noc will spill over into the human world.

Ms. Shay is masterful storyteller and she keeps the tension alive in her second Winslow Witches book, WITCH’S HEART. This story is full of intriguing characters, humor, magic and more that will keep the reader entertained for hours. I loved the dynamics between Hannah and Sage. Ms. Shay keeps the sexual tension on simmer for most of the story and it explodes between these two when you least expect it. I love Ms. Shay’s world building and how she keeps the world of Ru-Noc interesting with each book in this series.

WITCH’S HEART tells the story of Hannah Miller, a woman bent on rebuilding her life the way she wants it and is enjoying her new business, Sugar & Spice Bakery with best friend Kirrah Walker. What she doesn’t anticipate is hottie witch Sage to come, claiming he is there to exterminate her. When these two people cross paths, sparks fly, passion goes into boiling and then explodes in a shower that rains over the reader. WITCH’S HEART delivers some really nasty evil doers that made me shudder, add in conflict that threatens not just Ru-Noc but the human world as well, stir and you get Ms. Shay’s wonderful WITCH’S HEART.

WITCH’S HEART has some humor, magical elements, passion and more that will keep the reader flipping the pages till the very end. If you are looking for a engrossing story, then pick up Ms. Shay’s Winslow Witches series. I highly recommend reading the first book in the series as it introduces the world of Ru-Noc and the many characters that populate there. Run; don’t walk, to grab this book as well as WITCH'S BREW (book 1) for your reading pleasure.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW.
