Colonel Derek “Del” Delborough and his friends get the order to bring down the Black Cobra, the head of an Indian cult. When they discover the true identity of the Black Cobra, they realize that they will need help to bring him down. Del and his three friends separate and each of them carry one piece of evidence back to England. When Del arrives back in England he meets Delilah, who is drawn into his mission. Soon he has not only to fight against his enemies but also against his attraction toward Delilah, but he has not really a chance against her.

THE UNTAMED BRIDE is through and through a classic Stephanie Laurens book. You have your typical strong hero and an unconventional heroine, whom he just simply can’t resist. But none the less THE UNTAMED BRIDE is a fun book for all fans of Ms. Laurens and also a good book to start with for new fans.

In THE UNTAMED BRIDE you will meet beloved characters from the Cynster and Bastion Club series again. For those who are already familiar with them, it will be really enjoyable to revisit them. Some people might say that the plot line is the same as in previous books, but I liked meeting the characters again.

Let’s see how the Black Cobra Quartet will develop in the upcoming books. The next book, THE ELUSIVE BRIDE will be released in February 2010.

THE UNTAMED BRIDE
is an enjoyable Regency romance, not only for Stephanie Laurens fans.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
