TREACHERY IN DEATH is a fast paced, twisting ride from start to finish. With each book, Ms. Robb delivers a story that gets under your skin and leaves you gasping with each twist. Ms. Robb delivers her complicated case yet for Eve and she hits it out of the park from the first page. All my favorite characters are back, Roarke, Summerset, Mavis and more. It felt like you were meeting up with friends for an evening of fun, gossip and entertainment. I loved how in each book, the characters evolve and grow as people. J. D. Robb is a talented author who knows how to create stories that deliver suspense, action, a bit of romance and humor, to keep her readers engaged and eager for more. TREACHERY IN DEATH delivers tight writing, a fast paced action and a storyline that draws you in from the first page until the last page.
TREACHERY IN DEATH is a complex story that has cops going after another squad of cops, relationships evolving and this time Eve Dallas has to run a covert operation within cop central. Ms. Robb keeps the suspense on high as Dallas, Peabody and their friends try to stop the rogue cops and clean house. I don’t want to give away too much of the story but needless to say, Ms. Robb delivers a story that had me gasping one moment from a twist I didn’t see, coming to cheering loudly at another. With each book in the In Death series, Ms. Robb delivers a series that is fast becoming a cult classic. I absolutely love this series and can not wait for my next reading adventure with Eve and the gang. If you are looking for a high octane story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, grab any of J. D. Robb’s books in the In Death Series. I guarantee you will fall in love with Eve, Roarke and all their friends.
