Amanda Feral is one beautiful undead zombie. She runs an ad agency that is slowly draining her money. When push comes to shove, she decides to join a reality show called Americas Minions. What happens next will have Amanda trying to solve a crime that involves trannie werewolf, a white trash stripper yeti and a vampire with a removable head. Can Amanda solve the mystery before she finds herself in worse straights than she is in right now?
I have to admit I didn’t read the first two books (HAPPY HOUR OF THE DAMNED & ROAD TRIP OF THE DAMNED) and even though this was the third book, it was one of those books that you didn’t need to have read the other two in the series first. I didn’t know what to expect when I first opened the pages to BATTLE OF THE NETWORK ZOMBIES. Mr. Henry delivers a fun story that will have you giggling like mad at the antics of Amanda and her fellow reality contestants. Add in some wonderful secondary characters that keeps the story flowing smoothly, Mr. Henry delivers a story so sublime that you will wish it was on TV right now to watch. With the right touch of mystery, fun, and intriguing characters, this author delivers a nice balance of humor and paranormal. I found myself trying to figure out who the killer was and I can safely say it wasn’t who I thought it was. I don’t want to say too much as I don’t want to ruin the climatic ending.
BATTLE OF THE NETWORK ZOMBIES delivers Amanda Feral into the world of reality TV to try to make some easy money. With a friend posing as her bitchy agent, she finds herself drawn into a mystery that takes many twists till the very end. Can Amanda find the killer before the cameras stop rolling and she ends up just like the victim? If you enjoy a humorous look into the world of yetis, werewolves, vampires and more, then grab one of the Amanda Feral books. This is an author who will truly keep you entertained till the very last page. I am definitely grabbing the first two books in this series and look forward to more adventures of Amanda Feral in the future.
