CLICK TO PURCHASE! Jane Smithers did not plan on a one-night stand with her neighbor resulting in a pregnancy. After all, in their normal every day lives, these two would not have ever slept together. That is what being drunk gets you.
Michael Rinaldi is used to being in control and getting his way. Why should Jane be any different? Michael will simply demand that she find a way to get her boss to stop persuing his mother romantically. But why does he find himself getting involved with her, her pregnancy, and protecting her?
I must admit, I did not like Michael much at the start of the book, but I had to grudgingly admit he soon redeems himself. He took a lot on to protect Jane when he hardly knew her. Jane is a sweet girl who has had a lot thrown at her and handles it with grace. You just gotta like her. And so I did.
The title STORMS IN A SHOT GLASS intrigued me from the first time I saw it. I didn’t even read the book’s blurb and I was interested. And author Nolwynn Ardennes has penned a wonderful story that, in my opinion lives up to the title. The characters are well drawn, three-dimensional and full of emotion. The secondary cast is complimentary to the story. The prose flows smoothly from one scene to another and the reader is never left wondering or confused. Ms Ardennes is a delight to read and I hope to delve into more of her work in the future.
THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW.
