Jesse Alexander and Evan Arden couldn’t be any more different. Jesse the young and talented singer who tries to bring his band the much wanted success in the world of music and Evan the rock star who is hiding from his fans and the rest of the world. But both love their music and that is what brings them together. Jesse looks behind the façade that Evan built himself and sees the true Evan, but will he be able to show Evan the real joys of life? And that they are meant to be together? CONQUEST is a fascinating story of love, heartbreak and dreams set in the interesting world of music and rock stars. It also shows that you should no judge everything at face value, but look deeper into a person’s character. Evan is the best example for this as he seems to be the typical arrogant rock star, but no sees the wounded soul that needs healing. S.J. Frost delivers with CONQUEST one of the best debut novels that I have ever read in this genre if at all. This book seriously rocks and not only literally. Once you start reading you get completely enchanted and sucked into this story so that you will have a really hard time to stop reading. I was more than a little sad to see this story end, because not only were Jesse and Evan such fascinating characters but there were also great secondary characters. Fortunately for the readers there is the sequel called No Fear. I can hardly wait to see how the story continues. CONQUEST is definitely one of those books that I will re-read, because it’s a keeper. So make space on your keeper shelves for your copy of CONQUEST. You really don’t want to miss such a terrific book, so hurry and get your copy today. THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
