CLICK TO PURCHASE! Torin Kerridon is the last of the warriors who make up an ancient order and sent to a dying Earth to find the one person who can wield the fabled Sun Sword. Expecting a man, he never anticipates a woman to be the prophetic one. He will prepare her, train her and help meld Kala to become the person able to save the planet. One tiny problem-he never anticipates that he will fall for the feisty woman while doing all this. Can he find a way to help Kala become what she is supposed to be while falling in love with the woman he sees behind it all?

Kala Rei has had it with men. Hunted and determined to survive on Earth leads her to Torin when she finds her destiny in his words and love in his arms. Can Kala be the woman who will save the world of men even as she falls for this hardened warrior?

THE SUN SWORD is a sheer joy to read. I loved the richness of the storyline and the multidimensional characters create a rich story to get lost within on a lazy spring day. Ms. Couper is a wonderful storyteller who completely captivates the reader from beginning to end. A fast paced storyline, some smoking hot sex scenes that didn’t detract from the story and incredibly well rounded characters to keep the reader flipping pages makes THE SUN SWORD one of those rare books that I will definitely read again in the future.

Meet Kala Rei, a woman trying to survive on an abandoned, desolate Earth. With her trusty lead pipe, Kala is determined to not let men get the best of her ever again. Torin Kerrigon is a hardened warrior who is on the mission to find the prophesied one-the warrior who will wield the sun sword and save the worlds of men. Well that was the theory anyway until he runs into Kala and finds that the warrior he assumes was a man is actually a woman-one who is desirable, feisty and determined to be independent. Ok, these two have got me from the beginning when Kala knocked Torin on his butt. I love a feisty, take charge type of heroine and Ms. Couper delivers in Kala. Torin is her perfect foil and frankly, when these two come together on the pages, sparks fly and I swore the computer was smoking from all the sexual tension flying between them. It made for some wonderful reading moments in THE SUN SWORD and had me itching to see what would happen next between these two. Some wonderful secondary characters keep the story flowing smoothly and I wondered if Ms. Couper will do a spin-off book or two on them in the future.

THE SUN SWORD is sheer poetry in motion and one story that will keep you highly entertained till the very end. I loved the way this author writes and frankly, am hoping she comes back to the world she created within the pages of THE SUN SWORD in the future. I wouldn’t mind revisiting my favorite characters again in the future. If you enjoy a highly enjoyable futuristic story with some memorable characters, an ancient prophecy, an evil guy I was itching to put in his place and a romance that will either be the death of them or save them in the process, then grab THE SUN SWORD. Be ready to be lost within the words of Lexxie Couper and I look forward to more from this author in the future.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
