DAZE ON END is the introduction of a series set around a band and Ms. Talbot delivers a story so erotic it will leave you panting when the last page is read. With intriguing characters, scorching sex scenes to heat things up and a mystery that will keep you glued to the pages just to see what happens next. I absolutely love this story. I found the characters to be multi-dimensional, the sex scenes were tastefully done and even though they were very erotic, it enhanced the story instead of taking away from it. What really intrigued me was the relationship between Jason and Erik. It was a puzzle that slowly came into focus and when Kayla got in the mix, it became a bit clearer though questions still remain in my mind. What is the energy connection between the three and why them?
Meet Kayla, a woman who worked hard to get where she was and when her younger assistant gives her a concert ticket, she impulsively decides to go. What happens next will change her life forever. When she lays eyes on Jason, the lead singer of the group Daze on End, she finds a man who is sinfully hot as well as boyish, sexy and has a voice that creams her panties each time he sings a note. Jason and Erik are connected on a level that they cannot explain and when Jason finds the one woman who connects to them both, they wonder what will happen next and if it is good or bad for them. These three characters are perfect for each other. With sparks flying from the beginning between Kayla and Jason, I fell for them all especially as Erik came into the picture and all three find out what happens when one is not with them anymore. This is an author who really knows her characters and it’s no exception with this story. The characters are well-rounded and life-like. It felt like you could meet them in real life and enjoy their company as well as ogling Jason and Erik, of course. Some secondary characters hinted at future stories which I am hoping Ms. Talbot delves into later on. I would love to know more about them and the bands they play in.
If you haven’t picked up this latest book from an exceptional author, then run to grab it. It will definitely keep you entertained and eager to know more about this wonderful band. DAZE ON END is one wild rockin’ time and I am eager to see if Ms. Talbot continues her stories for them in the future.
This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
