Arianna Skye’s WINGS OF DESIRE is an erotic fantasy filled with fairies and goblins and a battle of good versus evil.

This is the story of a modern woman who finds out that her cyberfriend is actually a fairy consort come to claim his Princess. With little warning, Rhiannon Kinsley’s life is turned upside down when she finds herself in the fairy realm and learns that she is really a fairy Princess hidden on Earth for her safety. It is now time for her to take her place in the royal court. But first, she must defeat the evil black fairy intent on destroying the white fairy kingdom.

This story is bizarre and oddly amusing. Cerne is the perfect royal consort. He is loyal, fierce and determined to do his duty to his people. It doesn’t hurt that he is attracted to Rhiannon. Rhiannon just didn’t seem to fit what this reader thinks of as fairy royalty. She is brash and bold (and virginal?). Sweet, naïve and genteel are not words that come to mind here. The fairy realm is filled with trickery, beauty and magical beings. Luckily, Rhiannon adjusts to her destiny fairly easily and is more than eager to defend her kingdom from evil. If not for her strong language, less than ladylike demeanor and overabundant use of sex scenes (again I reiterate that she is supposed to be a virgin?), this reader might have enjoyed this fantasy more.

Still, fans of fantasy and fairytales turned erotic will probably enjoy Arianna Skye’s WINGS OF DESIRE.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
