Now her best friend is a mate of a Darkling and Diana finds herself feeling like she has no choice in the matter. If she wants to be with her friend again, she will have to answer the call of the Darkling…except her Darkling isn’t about to let her get off with ignoring her destiny. Can Diana heal this broken Darkling with the power of her love?
DARKLING POSSESSION is one hot, short story that will surely get you all hot and bothered on a cold autumn night. We met Diana in DARKLING LUST and I was thrilled to see that she got her own Darkling to enjoy. The story was hot, steamy fun that will keep you hot and bothered till the very end. I highly recommend you keep your windows open or an ice bucket nearby to get you cooled down while reading this wonderful story. Ms. Karland is a talented storyteller and one who knows how to keep the reader engaged, even in this short story. I don’t want to share too much as this is a short 30 plus page story.
DARKLING POSSESSION gives us a heroine who has ignored the call of the Darkling and moves on with her life, knowing she is being selfish for wanting a normal life. Diana is an interesting heroine who knows what she did was wrong but after seeing her friend being taken by the Darkling, she knew she couldn’t ignore her destiny any longer. I liked Diana a lot. She had a lot more depth in this story then when I previously met her in DARKLING LUST. The storyline flowed smoothly and the sex scenes, though abundant, didn’t overwhelm the storyline at all.
Ms.Karland delivers a stirring story of love, forgiveness and hot passion. If you are looking for a short, hot tale to read one day, then grab this entire series (DAEMON’S REVENGE, DARKLING LUST and DARKLING POSSESSION) to enjoy. I just hope your computer or e-reader doesn’t melt in the process.
