The first book in Cynthia Eden’s new series, DEADLY FEAR, is a frightening and fast-paced romantic suspense about a serial killer who plays on his victims’ worst fears.

A killer is on the loose and using his victims’ darkest fears for his kills. FBI Special Agent Monica Davenport is the profiler assigned to the case. A survivor of a serial killer herself, Monica is emotionally walled off and is known among her fellow agents as an ice queen. Newly assigned to the team, Special Agent Luke Dante was chosen for his uncanny ability to put victims as ease. He also happens to be the only man that Monica has ever let into her heart. Now they must find a way to work together to catch a killer, before their fear gets the better of them.

Cynthia Eden’s Deadly series is off to an explosive start with DEADLY FEAR, a pulse pounding thriller where even the agent in charge of the case is being targeted by a killer with a penchant for fear. DEADLY FEAR is a real page turner, filled with plot twists and turns, edge of your seat action and deadly menace aplenty.

Monica lived through a horrific experience and has come out the other side a strong, well-trained woman and agent who spends her days locking up those who prey on others. She has no interest in a personal life or opening herself up to being vulnerable with another person. But there was that one time. Luke has worked hard to attain his place on this team and couldn’t be more pleased, to find he is being teamed with the one that got away. He is prepared to use every advantage to see that when their killer is brought to justice, he and Monica are more than just partners during the daylight hours. The fear and tension positively burst from the pages as the story unfolded. When Monica is targeted, readers will feel drawn into the story and the ultimate battle between hunter and hunted.

Readers who enjoy the adrenaline rush of a well thought out thriller, with a little romance tossed in for good measure are sure to enjoy Cynthia Eden’s DEADLY FEAR. This reader is eagerly anticipating the next book in this chilling series.
