Vampire Meical Grabian was determined to help his kind by volunteering for a dangerous experiment. This experiment left him hungering for more than blood, and it will be up to one special woman to sate Meical’s passions.
Caroline Bengal finds Meical intriguing and can’t help but be drawn to him. Soon the forbidden passion between them flares hotter than a desert sun, and as danger surrounds Caroline it will be up to Meical to keep her safe as love blooms between them.
INCUBUS is one wonderful story that will keep the reader glued to the pages until the very end. Ms. Jones is a talented author who created intriguing characters, a fast paced storyline and simmering passion, amid the pages in her latest book. This is a new to me author and one I plan to explore more of. INCUBUS is a story that turns the world of vampires upside down and gives it a fresh take on a tired lore.
Meet Meical Grabian, a vampire who is determined to not have the vampire kind go into extinction. He volunteers to be part of an experiment from an alchemist. When he awakens he finds himself changed and not the way he imagines either. Meical is a complex character and one that I enjoyed immensely. He was different, vulnerable and determined-a perfect alpha male in my opinion and one so hot, I swore the pages of the book were going to combust. The chemistry between Meical and Caroline was smokin’ hot and had me eager to see what would happen next between them. There were a few secondary characters that had me intrigued and moved the story along nicely as well.
INCUBUS is a great introduction to an author who knows how to keep her readers glued to the very end of a book. With the right amount of chemistry, interesting characters and a storyline that has a few twists thrown in to keep you off-balance. I am eager to see if Ms. Jones comes back to the world she created in INCUBUS in the future. I would love to see what happens next there. If you want a hot little story to heat your afternoon up, then I highly recommend INCUBUS. You won’t go wrong in this new twist on vampires.
