He didn’t even know they could be civilized like that until he was taken captive and forced to use his brains for them. Now the leader, Mace, has his eye on Daniel and Daniel is eyeing him back. Can the human and the leader of the beast men find common ground before Daniel opens his smart mouth and gets him killed?
I love, love, love WOLFMAN APOCALYPSE. This was one hot, steamy story with the right amount of sass to keep me intrigued to the very end. Brannan Black delivers the introduction into a world that had me glued to the pages. The characters were quite life like and the story flowed so smoothly, I was shocked when I read the last page. Where did the story go? I laughed at Daniel’s smart ass comments, cringed when it looked as if it was the end and sighed when Mace delivered his brand of lovin’.
Meet Daniel, seemingly the last gay man in the world. A plague has either wiped out the women and children or they survived to survive with the remaining people immune to the plague. The men got hit the worst…if they weren’t immune; they either turned into wolfmen, claws, sharp teeth and brute strength aside or died from it. The world went to hell in a hand basket and Daniel is along for the ride. I love Daniel and Mace. These two are strong alpha males, it had me going into a swoon the minute these two came onto the pages, which was often. The chemistry between them had me wondering if the computer was going to catch on fire and man, when they finally got together, holy moly, get the fire extinguishers-it’s smokin’ hot! There were some secondary characters that had me quite intrigued and I would love to know more about them; maybe in future books.
WOLFMAN APOCALYPSE is one wild ride from start to finish. Brannan Black delivers a strong novella that will get your body humming and you racing to the computer for book two. If you are looking for a different kind of paranormal/futuristic book, then grab WOLFMAN APOCALYPSE and settle in for one pulse pounding ride. I highly recommend this introduction to a new series that leaves you spell bound.
