CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE! Not only must Daniel and Mace deal with the anxiety and fear at Daniel’s mothers compound but they must also deal with Tat’s try for leadership. While the two are dealing with Mace they also find two young injured wolfmen with a blind human mate. The tension builds not only between the wolfmen and also the humans as well. Once again they must return to Daniel’s mother’s compound for her help. Not only do we get to see the interactions of the wolf men but also the humans, as well as their reactions to each other. Can Daniel and Mace’s relationship withstand all that goes on or will Daniel begin to see the Wolfman as beasts like the others do? Will the human and wolfmen relations survive the tension between the two camps?

I loved Mace right from the beginning of this series and with this book I love him even more. Mace shows more and more of his human side in this story. He loves Daniel more than words can tell and he shows this in many ways, which surprise not only Daniel but the reader as well. Mace may not say it but he shows it and Daniel knows the place he holds in Mace’s heart. I enjoy seeing the way the two stand by each other’s side no matter what. Daniel loves Mace just as much in return and is more than willing to fight for their relationship.

I really enjoyed seeing Daniel’s mother and some of the other humans as well. It makes the story more interesting to see how the humans react to the men that have been changed by the virus. Daniel’s mother is a very strong and smart woman who is doing all that she can for those that she cares for. I love Daniel’s mother she is just as strong of an alpha as Mace is and cares for everyone equally.

As fast paced and action filled, as this book is it still has its romance in it. The love that Mace and Daniel have outshines everything else that happens to them. I enjoyed all the emotions that are felt in this book, showing that the Wolfmen are still human on the inside. It was also nice to see the way the author intertwines the characters from other books set in this world. I hope that this author continues this series and that we get to visit this world many times. I cannot wait to see what other adventures can happen in this world and what other characters that we can come to love just as much as Mace and Daniel.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
