Now circumstances have brought her to the attention of A-Tac, a group of deep cover government operatives who are sent to investigate Alexis in connection to a recent bombing. But when Alexis finds out the man who has been sent to protect her is part of a group she has spent her life hiding from, will their budding romance be cut short before it ever gets the chance to bloom?
Dee Davis once again gives her fans another pulse pounding, action packed romance filled with mystery and secrets galore in her fourth A-Tac book, DEEP DISCLOSURE. This book positively leaps from the pages. The scenes are vividly described and the suspense just keeps coming.
The main characters, Alexis and Tucker, are easy to empathize with. Alexis is a loner, afraid to trust and always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Tucker is a solid action hero. He is emotionally damaged and wary, but obviously one of the good guys. It was very easy to want these two characters to find happiness together. While Tucker could easily have played the role of bodyguard and savior throughout the book, Alexis’ trust issues continued to keep him on his toes. She simply isn’t and never will be the type of woman to sit back and rely on anyone to keep her safe. Some of the situations they found themselves in had this reader rolling with laughter. But their possible romance is not the meat of the story, it is the many twists and turns and surprise reveals in the storyline that really sell this book.
If you enjoy a little romance mixed in with your suspense and a story with tons of action, Dee Davis’ DEEP DISCLOSURE will exceed all expectations.
