As Angel of Death, it’s Keenan’s job to take away the life when their time is up. He does his job, doesn’t deviate from his job at all. Until he is given the task of taking away Nicole St. James’ life. Pretty, innocent and she has the whole of her life in front of her. Keenan finds himself hesitating for the first time in doing his job and instead of taking Nicole’s life; he takes the vampire who is killing her.

For that, Keenan lost his wings and is on a search to find the pretty Nicole…except when he does find her, she is totally different. Sexier, shorter clothes and fangs. She was turned into a vampire before Keenan could kill her sire and now she is on a mission, to kill the ones who helped turn her into a bloodsucker. A fallen angel finds himself tempted by a woman he wants with all his being. Will Keenan be able to handle the woman Nicole is now, rather than those long ago memories?

Cynthia Eden introduces the readers to a world of vampires, fallen angels and more in her sexy ANGEL OF DARKNESS. I absolutely adore fallen angel books and this one was as good as the others I have read. Great cast of characters, tight writing and a fast paced storyline, keeps the reader on the edge of their seats. This is a high octane ride so make sure to strap that seat belt in as you start this one. I do have to admit there were a few spots that seemed to drag on a little bit but it soon sped up, so you get back into the story easily enough.

Cynthia Eden delivers a story that had me eager to see what would happen next for Keenan and Nicole. The characters are multi-dimensional and kept my attention. Keenan is sexy as a fallen angel and had me wonder if I could find one of my own for a day of sinful fun. Nicole starts off as innocent but within a chapter or two, she gets her fangs, so to speak. Tough, determined and not so innocent anymore, she does everything she can to survive and find a way to get revenge on those who helped her become a vampire. Keenan is sexy as sin and the sparks between these two had me checking the book a few times to make sure it wasn’t going to go up in flames. The action takes them all over as heaven and hell seem to be after them both. The action is fast and keeps you flipping the pages easily.

ANGEL OF DARKNESS delivers a wild ride from start to finish. I look forward to seeing what is next in this new series from Cynthia Eden. If you are looking for a series that mixes fallen angels, vampires and other paranormal creatures, then grab ANGEL OF DARKNESS and settle in for one pulse pounding ride.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of the book.
