He wants them all out of the way or under his control. Mace and Daniel must get the others to understand the threat and join together before time runs out. The enemy is many but if Mace and the other packs can unite they may be able to save themselves before it is to late. As Mace and Daniel fight for their lives their love grows even stronger and Daniel decides just where his loyalties lay.

If you follow this series than this story is a must read. Not only because it is the last of Mace and Daniel’s story but also because it is a great ending to the whole storyline. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad with this book. While I am happy to see everyone get what they deserve I still feel sad leaving this world behind.

I really loved watching Daniel finally figure out who he is and where he wants to be. He has matured and grown throughout this series and this book shows him as the man we all knew was in there: a confident and strong mate to Mace. As always Mace is a great alpha male and he rules the pack fairly but strictly. He loves Daniel with all his heart and continues to prove it.

We not only get to see Daniel and Mace’s love become stronger but we also get to see them both in action. Mace must prove himself against other werewolves and Daniel once again fights along side the others. We are treated to another visit to Daniel’s mothers compound and once again we get to visit with Mei and her men as well. I enjoyed revisiting with many of the past characters. There is so much emotion in this story. We get to see many band together and fight a common threat and many find that the beasts are not what they thought they were. This book ties up a lot with its ending yet it leaves so much more that can be discovered in this world. I hope that this is not the last time we get to hear from Mace and Daniel and the pack.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
