Taylor’s parents guilt him into returning to his family home to prepare it for sale. He moves his private investigation business from London to Leeds so he can do it, but is far too busy with his job to worry about the house, or relationships, although sex would be okay.

Niall is living in the house, caring for the garden. He also cooks wonderful meals. But who is he hiding from and what does he want from Taylor?

Taylor’s PA quits. His investigator, Jonas, and Niall encourage him to hire someone steady and businesslike, but Taylor keeps choosing sexy blonds with long legs. Roo is very sexy and desperately needs the job. But she drives Taylor insane with her strange ways. Is she driving Niall mad too?

Each of the three main characters has their own background, story and needs. Together the three stories clash, fight and divide them, then merge into something special. It’s Roo who’s the catalyst, Roo who sets them on their path, and Jonas has a hand in it too.

All the main characters (and the minor ones) are wonderful, fully developed people, who will have the reader, laughing, crying and hoping for an HEA. Although that seems impossible.

The book has a great start that draws the reader right in. I loved the hint of mystery and the characters. There were some fabulous scenes not just of passion and drama, but also of pure comedy. Again it was Roo who was the catalyst here too. The sex was inventive, varied and hot. The minor characters were excellently drawn.
The editing was spotless. I noticed one tiny thing and in a book of almost 400 pages that’s better than even the Big Six in NY can do.

The ending was fulfilling and different. This is an absolutely wonderful book. A definite keeper.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
