Ysolde and Baltic have so much going on in this book from an outlaw posse to a dragon god. Can the two figure out everything and still come out of it all safe and sound? Ysolde must right the past wrongs to restore Baltic’s good name and as usual he is not helping and with one of his ex guards out to get them things get even more complicated. Add in trying to get their dragon sept recognized while Baltic continues to rub everyone the wrong way and the chaos begins. All this and visions to try and make sense of, how much more can a poor girl take?

In this third book of the series we get to see more of Ysolde and Baltic and their relationship. I love the way these two interact not only with each other but every one else in the book. Ysolde is a great woman and as always shows that she can hold her own. Baltic may not get along with anyone but we see that his heart belongs to his mate and he would do anything for her. Their relationship is strong and the love that they share is prevalent in all that they do. Katie Macalister does a great job in continuing this series. Not only do we get Baltic and Ysolde’s story but we also get to revisit with many of the other dragons and what would a book be without Aisling and Jim. I loved that once again everyone finds a way to work together to find a way to fix things. Once again I was drawn into the wondrous world of this authors dragons and hated leaving once their story was told. I loved this visit and cannot wait for the next book to see just what new adventures lay in wait for these dragons.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
