Emma Parkes comes to Club Submission looking for answers but what she finds is a strong Dom named Master Zane. Soon Emma finds herself forgetting just why she is at the club and falling for Zane. While Emma wants to run Zane wants more. Soon the two are thrown into a mystery as Zane agrees to help Emma find her missing friend. As the two work together to find Chloe and just what happened to her, Emma and Zane begin to grow closer. Will Zane convince Emma that her feelings are worth investigating or will she run back to England and away from it all?

Emma and Zane make a great couple. Emma is a strong woman who never gives up. Zane is a good man who loves with all his heart and you can see just how much he cares for Emma in everything that he does to help her through it all. While I enjoyed meeting Zane and Emma I found it a bit hard to connect with them making parts of this book a dry read for me. Emma is in search for her missing friend but that soon takes a backseat to her relationship with Zane and the small mentions of the case throughout the story and the solving of it seemed like a quick wrap up. With the big build up and the officer that is assigned to the case I thought that there would be more to that part of the story. Watching Zane and Emma heat up the pages was a nice read. The two warily begin a friendship and it grows into much more. Their love not only holds them together but it pulls Emma through so much.
