Marjorie Keith has been in love Cormac MacAlpin like forever, but everything change after his twin brother Aidan was kidnapped 13 years ago. Now Cormas is back from the war and he wants nothing but his peace, till Marjorie appears on his doorstep with the plea to help her find a lost child, she was taking care of. This event brings up bad memories on both side. Will they be able to forgive each other and find the love they were destined to share? And will the find the little Davie?

DEVIL’S HIGHLANDER is the first book in the brand new Clan MacAlpin series about the orphaned MacAlpin brothers and sister. It’s promising to be a good and entertaining series. Ms. Wolf writing style grabs her readers interest from the first page onward and one gets the feeling that one is transported back to Scotland in the time shortly after the Civil Wars. The story is full of rich details that make it so real.

The best way to describe Cormac is tortured hero, he never forgave himself that his twin was kidnapped although he was only 10 years at that time. He also thinks that he isn’t worthy of Marjorie, because of all that happened in the past.

Marjorie is a caring soul who wants to get rid of the loneliness and despair that she sees in Cormac eyes. She will fight for him, no matter what it takes.

As a fan of Scottish romances I was absolutely swept away and I can only recommend this book to everyone who loves those wonderful Highlanders.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF THIS BOOK. THIS IS AN OBJECTIVE UNBIASED REVIEW
