Mark was a private investigator until someone shot him. Now he’s stuck in the old building with only a ghost cat for company.

Until another man is killed into the same building. A very yummy man. They may both be dead, but being dead isn’t all that bad. The major problem is that they can’t move on until they find out who killed them.

This is just a very short story so there’s not very many words for back story, character description, or even plot, but Mr. Kendrick still manages to weave an interesting and unusual tale.

The MM sex scenes are by necessity somewhat short and truncated due to the lack of wordage available, but they still give the reader an understanding of the games the two men play together.

Mr. Kendrick has also managed quite reasonable characterization of both men and the cat, enough to raise a smile on the reader’s face, and to have the reader invested in the two men finding their happy ending. Or beginning. Or whatever.
A fun way to fill in the wait at the dentist’s surgery, or to read over lunch. If you take this book understanding that the length dictates very few characters, not much description, and no subplots, you will enjoy the characters and their predicament.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
