How do you get yourself in the mood to write?

I just start thinking about what would be interesting to write about. Once that happens I start thinking of how the story line should be and then the words begin to form.

If someone hasn't read any of your work, what book would you recommend that they start with and why?

They should start will my poetry book “Poems About Life, Love, and Everything in Between,” because it came from my heart and that would give the reader an in depth knowledge of how I tick and what I care about.
