Ryder Montgomery is the one Montgomery Brother who has more layers than an onion. He can be surly, abrupt but also sweet, compassionate and more. He also has an attraction to the sexy innkeeper that runs the family’s Inn at Boonsboro. Hope Beaumont is used to the hustle and bustle of the city, of working and running a major hotel yet nothing could prepare her for the heartbreak of a relationship gone bad nor the lust she feels whenever she is in the same room with Ryder. But for these two strong and stubborn people, it will take a ghost, a mystery and more for them to open their hearts to the love that is beginning between them.

I absolutely adore this series. The Montgomery brothers were intriguing, sexy and definitely some amazing characters I wished to meet in real life. Plus they found the perfect mates in the women who make these wild yet tender guys so vulnerable. The sparks have been going off between Ryder and Hope since the first day they met and I loved how these two strong willed people find themselves falling in love even as they fight it, kicking and screaming. I really enjoyed catching up with the past characters and finally seeing where the mystery around Lizzie the ghost at the Inn Boonsboro was all about. Ms. Roberts does a great job in creating realistic characters that make you want to meet them as well as hang out with them on a daily basis. The scenery around the series was fabulously done and I swore I am going to visit these places in the real life town where Inn at Boonsboro is based. The story does have its issues, namely lots of talking between characters, rehashing items mentioned several pages before. Though that got old after awhile, it didn’t dim my enjoyment in this final book in the series.

THE PERFECT HOPE was a wonderful swan song to the Inn Boonsboro Series and one I look forward to reading again in the future. Ms. Roberts is a talented storyteller who knows how to create intriguing characters, a fast paced story to fall in love with and more all within the pages of her books. If you are looking for a relaxing read on a sunny summer day, then try her Inn Boonsboro series and fall in love with the Montgomery Brothers and the women who can tame them as well as stealing their hearts in the process. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store for her readers in the future.
