When Adrian came to
Conner’s pack he was hurt and has never truly healed. Amnesia has taken hold of
him and all he knows is his name. Adrian waits hoping that one day his memory
will return but when an ugly confrontation with the vampires and costs him his
hand he falls into a deep depression. Spending many days alone until he hears a
plea for help and when he comes across a pregnant werewolf he finds himself
feeling so much more. Could Larson be the one to help Adrian remember or has
Adrian lost his past for good?
Once again I found
myself pulled into the world of werewolves and their mates. Adrian’s story is a
sad one and I am glad he fights for his happy ending. Larson is a good man and
cares for Adrian more than anything. He does whatever it takes to help Adrian
remember and takes what he can get; no matter how little or how much it is he
accepts what he gets. The bond that the two men have is a strong one and it is
not lost even after the trauma that Adrian went through. I enjoyed watching the
two connect and find the love that they lost. When Adrian finds that he may
have lost Larson once again he fights for all that he is worth and will never
give up on their love. Adrian and Larson make a wonderful couple and the
strength of their love shines through right from the start, Their story is fast
paced and engaging making it a nice addition to this series.
This is an objective review and not an
endorsement of this book.
