Paranormal Romance

The newest GhostWalker book from Christine Feehan, VIPER GAME, is paranormal romance filled with Cajun heat, men with serious skills and the cutest little vipers.

GhostWalker Wyatt Fontenot left the bayou he grew up in a healer and is coming back a highly trained killer.  Wyatt followed his brother Gator into a secret military experiment that gave him enhanced abilities and a wicked temper.  When Wyatt’s grandmother calls him home because of some sneaky things going on in the bayou, he takes her concerns very seriously and hurries home with a few friends for added help.  What he finds will change his life in so many ways.

Christine Feehan’s latest GhostWalker book, VIPER GAME, follows the same basic winning formula that all her well received GhostWalker books have.  It is Wyatt and Pepper’s story and it is everything Feehan fans look forward to – hot enhanced military men with a swoon-worthy soft side, steamy jungle sex and an evil villain that just gets more and more despicable by the book.  Pepper, like many of the enhanced women in these books, is unaware of the others of her kind when she comes upon Wyatt as she is escaping her prison on a life with a baby in tow.  She has been enhanced with snake DNA and has been trained to seduce and assassinate.  It is no coincidence that she has been given the task of caring for three identical twin baby girls with fangs.  And while seduction is her game, getting involved with Wyatt is something she is completely unprepared for.  But the uber-dominant Wyatt isn’t taking no for an answer, especially after he realizes that Pepper is the mother of his three little viper children.

While the romance portion of these books is always steamy with a capital “S”, it is the intrigue of evil Dr. Peter Whitney that keeps this reader coming back again and again.  He is just so incredibly evil.  Dr. Whitney really keeps the GhostWalkers on their toes.  This man is constantly coming up with ways to test his soldiers and he is always thinking five steps ahead of everyone else.  The sheer scope of his plans positively boggles the mind.  While this reader knows each book is only bringing readers a tiny step closer to Dr. Whitney’s end game, it really is nearly impossible not to eagerly grab up each book as soon as they hit the shelves to see what he has planned next.

Feehan GhostWalker fans will not be disappointed with VIPER GAME.  This story really does have a bite to it.
