Winter’s
father has insisted that the two of them return to the pack. Leaving the only
life he knows Winter follows his father back to their pack. Winter finds out
that there is much more going on than he thought. His father has another reason
for returning that could put them in danger. The pack is not as safe as they
thought it would be and to top it all off Winter finds a human that he cannot
live without. Being gay is hard enough but add into it being a werewolf and
finding your other half as a human and you have one hot mess.
Winter is a
good man and as he tries to navigate the inner workings of the pack he must
find a way to deal with hi inner turmoil. A true mate only comes once in a
lifetime but just how far will Winter go when his may be a human? Matt has no
idea werewolves exist even as he works side by side with them. Yet something
draws him to Winter and no matter what he cannot stay away from the man. The
two burn up the pages and the attraction between them soon turns into something
much deeper. Their emotions are strong and they soon find that their emotions
are not the only thing that they must fight. Their love is not the only thing
on the line.
I enjoyed
this visit to the Harker
Pack and cannot wait to see where the author takes this world from here. If you are following this series this is a
book that should not be missed. I enjoyed meeting Winter and his father as well
as seeing some favorite characters from previous books make appearances. This story is full of twists and turns that
grabbed my attention and has me eagerly waiting for the next book.
This is an
objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
