Jamal has it all a great job with the football team and wonderful family and friends that support him no matter what. What more could a man want? The only thing standing in Jamal’s way is his sexuality. He must decide who and what to tell but circumstances have him hiding until he can find a way to save not only his career but also his reputation. A surprise trip to a club brings him to his destiny and Jamal cannot ignore it. Trixie never does any more than her performance but when she sees Jamal Trixie makes a bold move but will Jamal like both Trixie and Trevor?  Can these two men find a way to be together or are they doomed from the start?

I loved listening to this story come alive. I just adored Trevor. He is a sweet man that just needed someone to love him for himself and believe in him. Jamal is more than up for the job but life intrudes on their happiness and they must decide to fight or hide. Their relationship builds wonderfully and comes with a few ups and downs. Some are big and need more than an apology to fix but the two men find a way to fight for their happy ever after.

Their story comes with villains you will love to hate and heroes you will love to cheer on. Not only do Jamal and Trevor have a story to tell but the secondary characters have a lot to say as well. I loved Jamal’s family and of course Will and Noah. It was nice to see these two incorporated into Jamal’s story.

I loved watching Trevor blossom and find his true self and seeing Jamal find himself growing up and taking responsibility made for a good story. It was nice to see the two men stand up and make a grab for love with a little help from family and friends.  This is a great addition to this series and I cannot wait to return and see what is next for this world.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
