Wolfhounds have been bred by humans to kill werewolves but Max and his men are different. When Max rescues Todd from a horrible situation Todd finds himself in a whole other situation that could cost him his life and that of the pup inside him. Can he trust in what Max says? Are Todd and his friends safe with the very men who were bred to kill them?

Lust and emotions begin to mix inside Todd. Are his feelings for real? He longs for the connection with Max but is afraid of the consequences that it could bring. Yet he cannot stay away from the man that was bred to be a monster. Max is so much more than what the humans bred him to be. He shows Todd how much he cares and can be trusted. If only Todd can trust his own feelings. I enjoyed watching these two find their way. The attraction quickly turns into love between these two.  Todd maybe an Omega but he is more than willing to fight for his friends and family’s safety against the Alpha of this pack.

This is a great beginning to a new series from this author. We not only get to watch Max and Todd’s relationship begin but we also get to meet other werewolves and werehounds that have a lot to say. As much as I enjoyed Max and Todd I have to say that Dean and Joey stole the show.  I cannot wait to see what happens next in this world.
