Marcus has always had an interest in BDSM and maybe even having  a relationship that might encompass some kink in it. Yet Marcus knows that what he longs for is hard to find and the chances of finding a good man that understands this is  a long shot. On a whim Marcus visit’s a BDSM club and catches the eye of  a sexy Dom. Little does he know but his brief conversation with Dimitri would lead to one of his fantasies coming true. Can there be more than just attraction between these two men?

While I liked the characters in this story I did not feel the heat between Dimitri and Marcus. The attraction and emotions that are described never  came through for me. The men seemed to say the right things but their story fell flat for me. Marcus seems like a smart man but many of his actions at the club seemed forced because of what he read in erotic novels and even as this is mentioned it is forgotten. The two men did not truly talk about what would be expected of each other in their relationship. Nor what may or may not be a true idea of what a D/s relationship is compared to what Marcus thought. We never really seem to get into any depth of these men or their relationship.  I would have enjoyed hearing more of Dimitri’s feelings for Marcus as well. I liked Marcus and his personality but not as a sub. He may be a bratty sub but it comes off more like a petulant child. Marcus does grow some though as he and Dimitri work through their weekend adventure and into a relationship.  Marcus and Dimitri have a sweet romance that moves quickly and contains some light kink. Their story is a good idea that could have been so much more.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.
