Tim has been hidden
away by his Uncle all his life. He never learned anything about being a wolf or
what it means. Having had enough of never being good enough, Tim runs away and
hides from his Uncle. Landing in a small town where he is accepted and
befriended Tim finds some peace. Even with the big Alpha sheriff constantly
keeping tabs on him Tim actually begins to feel safe but just what does the
sheriff want from him? He does not understand any of what the Nathaniel wants
and is more confused than ever by his attraction to the big man. He has always
known just how little he is and how much of a liability he can be. Why would a
man like Nathaniel even notice him and when Tim’s uncle and his lackeys come to
town Tim must decide what he will do.
Tim and Nathaniel’s
story was nicely brought to life by Robert Neiman. He paints a vivid picture as
he reads this book. I was quickly pulled in to their story and enjoyed the
emotions that came through as the two men built the bond between them. As I
listened to their story I felt as if I was right alongside them during their
adventure. Tim goes through a lot as he
learns what it is to be a wolf. He must start from scratch and figure it all
out for himself and the small town and its inhabitants are more than willing to
help. Everyone but Tim himself understands what is going on between Tim and
Nathaniel. Tim must work through it all as he tries to figure out what to do
about his past that may have caught up with him. This is a wonderful world to
get lost in. It is full of emotions and has a well-developed plot that grabs
your attention.
This is an objective
review and not an endorsement of this book.
